In 2025, the Danish Student House expanded its collection with the acquisition of a magnificent Steinway grand piano, made possible by the generous support of the Augustinus Foundation and the Foundation for the Danish Student House, and thanks to the initiative of the Student House’s director, Catherine Lefebvre, who championed this project with conviction and enthusiasm.
Chosen with the utmost care, this exceptional instrument is perfectly suited to the acoustics of the House’s lounge.
The arrival of this new piano marks an important milestone in the development of the House’s cultural life. It will provide both student musicians and guest artists with a high-quality instrument and allow the public to enjoy exceptional concerts in the warm and welcoming setting of the Danish Student House.
The Danish Student House extends its sincerest thanks to the Augustinus Foundation for its invaluable support, which helps bring music and cultural exchange to life at the House.
